In the first six years, through the CTREC efforts, $600,000 was raised and every dollar donated to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. The donations are specifically for research and development of better treatment options for those with rare cancers. M.D. Anderson Cancer Centers treat people from the entire United States and other other countries as well. When local medical teams do not know how to treat cancer, M.D. Anderson does.> Our Penny's For The Cure Team is a "mega-team" which means we have always had more than 4 members. And of all the mega-teams we have always been on the top five list for earning the highest amounts.
